Estrela da Amadora, a club in the Primeira Liga, made significant progress with the approval of the Special Revitalization Plan (PER). The insolvency administrator accepted the plan, which was favorably voted by 60.32% of creditors. This outcome is crucial as only 33.33% of favorable votes were needed for acceptance. Not only was the plan approved, but 98.91% of voting creditors supported the proposal, exceeding the requirement of 66.66% for the approval of certain conditions. With this decision, the club's debt, which exceeded 20 million euros, will be reduced to under 10 million euros. The next step will be the ratification of the plan by the Sintra Court, which is expected to happen in the coming days. This measure is seen as a positive step for Estrela's financial recovery, allowing the club to focus on its sporting performance in the league.
